To honour the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, widely revered as the Iron Man of India, the Department of Social Science conducted a Special Assembly on Ekta Diwas, October 31, 2025, at Birla Shishu Vihar, Pilani. The assembly aimed to instil the spirit of national unity, integrity, and leadership among students of the middle compartment. The program commenced promptly at 8:20 AM in the multi-Purpose Hall, with enthusiastic participation from students and staff.

1. Invocation & Hymn – A soulful prayer and hymn set the tone for the assembly, invoking peace and unity.
2. Thought of the Day – A student shared a powerful thought reflecting the ideals of Sardar Patel and the importance of unity in diversity.
3. Student Presentations – Selected students delivered well-researched speeches on the life, contributions, and legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, emphasizing his pivotal role in the integration of India.
4. Visual Tribute – A documentary titled Architect of Unity – Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was screened, offering students a visual insight into his life and leadership.
5. Principal’s Address – Mr. Pavan Vashishtha, Principal, addressed the gathering, highlighting the relevance of Sardar Patel’s vision in today’s context and encouraging students to embody the values of unity and patriotism.
6. National Anthem – The assembly concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem, reinforcing the spirit of national pride.
The special assembly was a fitting tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and successfully reinforced the values of unity, integrity, and patriotism among students.
